One of the crucial skills of leadership is modeling behavior. There are many potential role models around us to choose from, but very few are the embodiment of who we are trying to become. We all model our behavior, make critical life-decisions and design our lives based on how we see others living their lives. Modeling ourselves on how we see others is how most of us plan, engineer and move our own lives forward.
How do we find role the models in life we choose to emulate? How do we find these Superheroes that serve to inspire us? How do we incorporate these successful women into our own lives?
As we grow, mature, learn and become effective leaders in our own right, we realize that we too are now role models for others. How seriously do we need to take this responsibility? Should we consciously manage ourselves so that others can follow in our own steps, or just go about doing the best we can?
This session will include as many of the Women in Business Leadership Award Nominees that are able to meet in the afternoon. Come and cast an onsite vote for your favorite Superhero at the event itself.
Each delegate will get the chance to evaluate all nominees on their ability to inspire us, to demonstrate how much they’ve achieved in their lives, and to convince us that they are the most effective team builder.
Each nominee will make a three minute presentation, and each delegate will get an anonymous ballot to evaluate the nominees on inspiration, achievement and teambuilding qualities. |
